He has supported both the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital and the Red Cross. In recent weeks, he played a show to raise money for the families affected by the Upper Big Branch mining disaster.
After the unveiling of his Hollywood Boulevard star, Alan Jackson treated some lucky fans to an intimate performance at a small Hollywood club called Hotel Café. He played a 21-song set to radio contest winners who flew in from all over the country for the occasion. Jackson rarely plays in such small venues and fans were thrilled to see him perform with his eight-piece band.
