The Glee TV Series – A Non Fan Looks Into the Phenomenon
Glee, the all singing, all dancing Television sensation is taking the globe by storm. Whereas inevitable similarities to High School Musical are being made left, right and centre, the Glee series is taking a bit of a totally different path to those motion pictures. It tends to show that characters aren’t good, and on the full is a little more realistic than the Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens circus.

The soundtrack CDs of music taken from the Glee TV series are proving to be giant hits with fans, as is that the infamous cover version of ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by classic rock act Journey. Ok, therefore it could return over as sickly and relentlessly twee, it does have its positive elements. The characters aren’t good, emaciated, immaculate idols. Several of them come across as traditional, with regular issues and issues. Sure, the show is about as exhausting hitting as Pokemon, but it has its worth.
Whereas the Glee TV series is way from new, it has genuinely tapped into the audience that has been left shocked by the end of High School Musical, and in the method it is gathering even more fans, all of whom wish a lot of singing and dancing comedy drama in their lives. Essentially, it is filling fans with glee. As bad as that pun is, it would appear to be true!
I must stress that I’m not an exponent in any method, form or form. However, I do honestly believe a TV show with a positive message, that follows a assortment of underdog characters, certainly has its place on our screens. I could actively dislike the show, but there are voluminous folks that adore it, and I can’t begrudge them that, as it is an inoffensive and entertaining series that a great several folks are getting one thing out of.
The Glee TV series is continuing a fine tradition of inspirational TV shows for viewers inquiring the traditional changes of life, choosing up the baton from shows like Fame and its kind.
