Google Ambush & Web Traffic Machines

You need to use google ambush! Build massive traffic to your site with web traffic machines. Google Adwords is a tough beast. This beast is very difficult to master. But if you can master it, you have hit a goldmine. Don’t simply just head over and start a Google Adwords account. Learn to tame this beast before you start your first advertising campaign on Adwords.

In the beginning Click Through Rate (CTR) was very important for your campaigns. CTR is the number of clicks your ad will receive for 100 impressions that it is shown. It is still important but there are so many other things that you need to take into account now for success with Google Adwords.

Quality Score is something that is very important for you to understand. Google has never told anyone how it actually calculates Quality Score. Only help Google has provided to the Adwords users is that now it tells whether Quality Score is Great, OK or Poor. High Quality Score means Google likes your website and is willing to advertise it for a very low minimum bid like $0.02-0.04.

Quality Score depends on your website. Google wants a relevant website for the keywords on which your ad is going to be shown. A poor quality score means that your website is not relevant to the keyword that you want it to advertise on.

If Google thinks that your website is not relevant, it will give poor quality score to your site. This way Google is telling you to make your website relevant for that particular keyword.

First optimize each page of your site for one particular keyword. You will need to do some SEO for that. Only when you are satisfied that your site is relevant, make a new campaign using the optimized page for that keyword. Google likes to see quality content being advertised on its site and does not want to see poor website being advertised. Poor websites means poor user experience that harms Google in the long run.

Ad Rank is another matrix that you need to know. Ad Rank= (CTR) (Your Bid) (Quality Score). You can see; CTR and Quality Score are very important for your success. There is a quality score for each campaign as well as a general quality score of your Google Adwords Account.

Google also maintains a quality score of your general account. Your overall CTR in the account should never ever fall below 1% in my opinion. If your account gets assigned a poor quality score, it will affect your new campaign as well and if your account has a great quality score, Google will reward you more by assigning very low minimum bids for new campaigns as well. Be careful!

High CTR and good initial quality score does not mean that you are in safe water. All of a sudden your campaign can receive the infamous Google Slap. Google slap is to tell you that dont use Google Adwords anymore. There are ways to beat Google at its own game.
