OK ..so we are all seeking that elusive niche product that makes sales on auto pilot and feeds pot loads of cash into our bank accounts!

Stop struggling ..it doesn’t exist !! …. or does it??

I have been selling Private Label Rights products on the internet for over 6 years now. Some fruitfully and of course some were a waste of time.

Similar to most internet marketers I find that some niche products have a limited “shelf life” and sales dwindle into irrelevance after a period.

The niche sales site I made specifically for it is just internet junk clogging up a server somewhere. I tend to leave them there just for the back links to my other niche websites in the hope of the odd sales or 2?

The largest part of my time is taken up researching new niche products, building a niche website and promoting it, so I never have much time to revisit my previous niche websites and keep the niche marketing fresh. That’s a very bad habit to get into I know!

Now this is going to interest you …..but not as much as it embarrasses me!!

One of the very first markets I made a niche website for was the Health, Wellbeing & Fitness Niche.

DO NOT DISMISS THIS POST !!! … I know that your initial re-action is ” not that old niche again ! “

This is the god’s honest truth …

….. I make MORE MONEY out of this niche than any other niche I endorse ….

That surprises me – and embarrasses me – because …

… I do HARDLY ANY WORK on that niche than any other niche website I own!!

To add to my shame, the original health niche site I published, has not been added to or promoted in almost a year, and it still makes sales of Health, Fitness & Wellbeing ebooks repeatedly !! …between 4 & 18 a month @ $9.99 …that’s a nice profit.

… and it gets even better than that …

……my health niche ebook reseller web site also promotes membership of the supplier for the Private Label Rights eBooks and I get regular monthly recurring commission which are always well over $100 p.m.….this equates to almost $2000 this year alone.

As these commissions are paid right into my PayPal account I hardly ever notice them and didn’t take up the opportunity to get back to my old health niche site and update it.

My membership supplies me with 2 new Private Label Rights ebooks every month in the Health Fitness & Wellbeing niche, complete with sales letter and web site graphics, so I have WELL OVER 24 plr ebooks to add to my health niche website, because its been almost a year since I last visited the download area.

I have just made a solemn commitment to myself that I will add the last 12 months Private Label Rightsebooks to my site and totally tidy it up in the next few weeks …

….. after all.. its made me some nice income from ebook sales and monthly commission …..it deserves a treat !!

The moral of this post is:

Do Not Spend All Of Your Time Looking For New Niches.

Remember That There Is Still Life – & Profit – In The Old Ones !!

This is the seventh in a series of articles by J Keightley who is a professional life coaching specialist and ecommerce business owner of Giggleberries Mens Underwear, which investigates the important internet marketing strategies for improving your natural position in google.

Having focused on making a good start with your SEO, you should now be in a good position to maximize on that with some effective internet marketing. Remember that internet marketing is not all about increasing the SERP of your website and does involve many other marketing aspects. However, as the basis of these articles is concerned with increasing SERP’s I am going to focus on the internet marketing methods that promote this.

Link Building – link building is one of the most important things that you can do to promote your website and Google loves it. Link building is a process whereby you try to secure as many links pointing to your site as possible from other sites. There are a number of ways in which you can do this and these are explained below. However, it is important to know a few things. Reciprocal link exchanges have little or no benefit. This is where you link to one website in exchange for them linking to yourself. The better the site offering the link, the better the link will be and so it is prudent to find sites that have a good page rank, preferably a page rank that is at least equal to your site. Ideally, the site also needs to be in context and relevant to the content of your site. For example, if you sell dog collars, then you would be better getting a link from a kennel club site rather than a site that has nothing to do with dogs, such as a site that sells ladies shoes. Authoritative sites are also good, such as academic sites with the domain .ac in the url or other respectable sites such as the BBC website or .gov sites. Lastly, it is important to ensure that your links are ‘keyword anchor text links’ and incorporate the keywords you identified later and that the link lands on a page that is consistent with the keywords.

Comment Posting – this is a useful way of creating one way back links to your website. Find blogs that have content relevant to your site and post suitable and appropriate comments about topics on the blog. In your comment leave a link to your website. Not all blogs allow you to include urls in the comments box, so you will have to find ones that do and it is even harder to find ones that permit HTML so that you can create keyword anchor text links.

Forum Posting & Signatures – similar to comment posting, this is another way to contribute usefully to forums and to leave your link signature at the end of your comments. Beware, that with both comment and forum posting, moderators will block you for spamming if you just post irrelevant comments with links in.

Article Submission – this is one of the best ways to get one way back links to your site as many article submissions sites accept you to use HTML and therefore publish keyword anchor text links in your articles. Use something like iSnare, which not only allows you to submit articles, but will also distribute them for you. You need to write an article a day that is relevant to your website and submit them online. Once posted the link in it will point back to your website.

Directory Submissions – this is an old method and less useful nowadays unless you pay to be listed in quality directories. There are thousands of online directories you can submit to for free, but I wouldn’t bother as you are far better paying to be listed in about 10 or 15 quality ones rather than a 1000 poor ones. The Yahoo directory is an absolute must and will cost you $299 a year. Best of The Web (BOTW) is another and I would budgetincreases your exposure to other members of these sites in the hope that they will also choose to bookmark your pages.

P.S. Start getting free traffic to your websites in any niche you need – this is very simple and absolutely realistic.
