3 Copywriting Technique To Help You Craft Powerful Headlines Effortlessly
Loads copy writers argue that the headline is the most crucial element of a web copy. There’s a cause why so many individuals see eye to eye…
The headline can make a mind-blowing difference to your sales copy’s conversions. If you hit the exact headline, it is like finding cold hard cash – only this time you can reproduce it limitlessly.
That’s what I’m going to teach you here – the copywriting technique to craft an amazingly compelling headline. This is possibly the single most rewarding report you have ever received so listen up.
Before I go into the specifics, here is a tip: To craft a a powerful headline, you will always have to truly understand your audience. You have to know them like you know yourself and to do that, you will need to do various research. Consequently, before youtype a word, go sniff around for various information you can exploit to your benefit.
Now for the main show. There’s a straightforward “rule” that is relevant to all powerful headlines and it is this: It have to contain benefits.
I know there is you didn’t know thus far but just hold on a second.
Your headline shouldn’t contain just benefits, instead it should contain exclusive benefits. Benefits your readers cannot get anywhere else.
Here is an example from my copywriting course
The essence of the headline is “How to write sales letter that converts at 5%”. To make it exclusive, I changed it to comprise of my experience:
“How I wrote sales letters that converts at 5%”
Can you understand what I am trying to convey? The second headline implies that the copywriting mthod I utilized are only available from me.
But an exclusive headline itself is not sufficient. People are bombed by all kinds of advertisements in this day and age, that they are enormously cynical of any declaration.
So to solve that problem, you have to attach your declaration with evidence. In my example, I’ve already done that by telling people that I did it – thus demonstrated that my techniques is not just bull.
Now that you have got an established unique benefit in your headline, it is time to advance it to a more complex level. To make my headline more engaging, I’ve included what I call…
“Headline Boosters”
The idea behind it takes advantage of a weak point in everyone of: low confidence. When a reader read a headline, they inevitably doubt…
“Will the same thing happen to me?”
So here is how I enhanced my headline:
“How A Clueless Guy Wrote a Sales Letter That Converts At 5%”
When your prospect read that, they think, “If a clueless guy achieved it, I sure can. I’m not clueless!”
Now, that headline is already quite compelling but I’m not pleased yet. So I included an extra headline booster,
” How A Clueless Joe Crafted A Sales Copy That Converts At 5%… Even Though He Did It Wrong”
with a sub-headline that reads,
“And Now You Get To Discover The Techniques He Exploits When He Is Doing It Right!”
FYI, that headline is getting responses at more or less 12%.
Now, how would you like get your hands on more copywriting techniques I exploits that are making me more money in a day than my monthly pay from my last job?
