Every time a new product comes out, especially in the “making money online” market, there are people who will declare it a scam.

I’m always a little confused by this. For one, it’s illegal to blatantly misrepresent a product — any product — and what it can do. Granted, there may not be the same level of regulation on the internet as there is, say, with the FDA, but there is regulation by the free market.

If so many products were scams, why do people keep buying them? In an economy where complete and unbiased information is available to anyone with an internet connection, scams are quickly identified, stripped bare, and left to rot by the curb.
